  • Description: <jats:title>ABSTRACT</jats:title> <jats:sec> <jats:title/> <jats:p> Streptomycin thallous acetate actidione medium is typically used to isolate <jats:italic>Brochothrix thermosphacta</jats:italic> bacteria from food. Using this medium, three bacterial strains were isolated from the environment. Genomic sequences demonstrated that these bacteria are of the genera <jats:italic>Lysinibacillus</jats:italic> and <jats:italic>Paenibacillus</jats:italic> and are of biotechnological interest. </jats:p> </jats:sec>
