  • Description:
China, over past few years, has increased its engagement with Afghanistan particularly moving towards a stronger economic and commercial partnership. It was not the case in initial decade or so period subsequent to the US attack on Afghanistan in 2001 after the 9/11 incident. Bilateral trade and investments from China have seem considerable augmentations, recently. China's constructive engagement with Afghanistan is not only going to help the war-torn nation in its journey towards reconstruction and rehabilitation but would also play a role in stability at regional level.
