<jats:p>We seek for closed Jordan curves <jats:italic>C</jats:italic>, for which there exists a pair of analytic functions ƒ, <jats:italic>F</jats:italic>, where ƒ is analytic in the interior of <jats:italic>C</jats:italic>, while <jats:italic>F</jats:italic> in the exterior, except for a given singularity, and with <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="gmj.2010.018_eq1.gif" /> at <jats:italic>C</jats:italic>.</jats:p>
