Description:
AbstractJubula hutchinsiae (Hook.) Dumort. forms a complex of notoriously difficult intraspecific taxa, recorded from Southwest Asia as J. hutchinsiae subsp. javanica (Steph.) Verd. A re-examination of the Iranian and Turkish records indicates that they belong to the recently described J. hutchinsiae subsp. caucasica Konstant. and Vilnet, which seem to be restricted to the broadleaved deciduous forests of the Euxine-Caucasian-Hyrcanian floral province.
