<jats:p>Investments are the driving force behind the development of any territory, and their impact on the socio-economic situation of the region and its competitiveness cannot be overestimated. Krasnodar region is one of the most attractive regions for investment (including foreign ones) in the Russian Federation with a very low investment risk, which is currently experiencing a reduction in investment activity. Although it is clear that the development of investment activity is now limited to a greater extent by macroeconomic factors, regional authorities should make every effort to create favorable conditions for the revival of investment activity.</jats:p>
