  • Description: <jats:p>A series of isothermal adsorption experimental data of lean coal has been used to verify a temperature pressure-adsorption equation (TPAE). The enthalpy of the gas adsorption process is calculated by the indefinite integral expression of the Clausius-Clapeyron equation. The lnP vs 1/T plot is shown as a straight line with a negative slope, which illustrate that the adsorption enthalpy is negative, the adsorption process is an exothermic process. High temperature conditions are not conducive to adsorption.</jats:p>
