<jats:p>ABSTRACT- « To rise from the dead is not as agréable as one might suppose but it's interesting » says the narrator of Silvina Ocampo's « La sinfonía ». Such is the narrative situation proposed by this story which plays with the privileged point of view it implies, of a transgresive nature since it comes from beyond the grave ; or, how the supernatural in the heart of everyday reality projects a scoured as well as a scouring look on all sorts of conventionalisms, whether social, sentimental, or linguistic, and on human condition and creation itself.</jats:p>
