<jats:p>The French Fonds de réserve pour les retraites and the asset management’s industry </jats:p>
<jats:p>The French FRR hasn’t the right to manage its financial portfolios. So it put its assets management out to international tender. This competition on an unprecedented scale produced more than 400 answers from the main great international asset managers. The candidatures’ analysis was supervised in the legal framework of French public markets and has so presented a wide description of the main international management companies’ practices and organization. This article tries to draw the main lessons from it. </jats:p>
