Summary. — In the course of theXVIth century a belate wave of clearing on the plateau of Auxois develop, generated by the abbey La Bussiere-sur-Ouche. The new forms of development by the community set up such habitats as metairies and contribute to the original aspect of the Burgundian openfield System. But the Wüstungen phenomenon deprives us of many of these habitats.
