<jats:p>The article describes historical and existing technologies for monitoring visitors in museum exhibitions. A proposal for a new solution is also included. These technologies mainly include wireless radio technologies (Wi-Fi, ZigBee, Bluetooth, UWB, RFID), while our idea of monitoring is based on the use of heat maps from camera images, i.e. processing of data from multiple camera sources.</jats:p>
