  • Description: Introduction: It is possible to treat thecompetences of creative teachers of physicaleducation as original activities or innovativeactivities – pedagogical innovationand creation. Researchers ofcreative personalities indicate a rich mosaicof features which have an effect onthe creative attitude of a person. Such isrepresented by an individual with nonconformityand heuristic behaviour. Theattitude towards nonproductive activityis characterized by algorithmic behaviourand conformist attitude.Objective: The aim of this study was torecognize the general creative potentialamong teachers of physical educationworking in secondary schools.Materials and methods: A survey wascarried out in the school year 2013 / 2014among teachers of physical education.89 teachers including 52 woman and 37men participated in the survey. Data collectionwas performed on the basis of diagnosticsurvey using questionnaires. Aresearch tool used in the survey was thenormative Creative Questionnaire Subscalesfor the KAHN-II behaviour, versionfor teachers ‘My ideal pupil – student’.Results and conclusions: Taking intoconsideration the unsatisfactory researchresults, it should be essential to makephysical education teachers aware oftheir creative potential as well as the creativeconditions which enable them to use their potential personally and efficiently.
