The human development approach places the individual at the center of research, taking into account the personal elements that are relevant to each individual. There is a strong connection between the level of human development and economic growth because economic growth expands the material basis for meeting human needs. As a multidimensional concept, human development should not be equated with economic growth, because economic growth does not represent a guarantee of the socio-economic well-being of the entire society. Economic growth encourages human development in all its dimensions, that is it generates full employment, promotes human freedoms, and evenly distributes the benefits of future human development.</jats:p>
