This article analyzed the potential of early childhood education regarding compliance with the harmfulness of legal drugs for the use of illicit drugs. It was based on a qualitative approach based on a literature review. As a result, it was confirmed that the school has been expanding its role in social inclusion, however, it is unprepared to deal with issues related to drugs and that its partnership with families, the community and other collaborating agents are fundamental in preventing drug use. drugs, therefore in promoting physical and mental health, which must be treated in the context of pedagogical practice.
