This paper deals with a taxonomic study of Cyanophyta epiphytic on submerged plants in the following ponds: Chascomús, El Burro, Yalca and Vitel. Keys are given for the identification of the 3 orders, 5 families, 11 enera and 24 species found. The taxa are described and the species illustrated. Eigth species are described for the first time for Argentina.
