<p>Samples of Oligochaeta from seashore habitats in the southwestern archipelago of Finland and from Askö, Sweden, comprised 3 species of Aelosomatidae, 4 Naididae, 10 Enchytraeidae, and 2 Tubificidae, some of them first records for the area. Their occurrence and abundance in relation to the habitat conditions are discussed. Brackish-water and euryhaline limnic species are the dominating oligochaetes in this area of the Baltic. Taxonomic features of some species are discussed.</p>
