• Description:
The question of whether or not Chinese thought can be called "philosophy" has hitherto failed to lead to any conclusion. The futility of rational arguments is related to the academic institutions that shape our views. This article explores European academe, more specifically the History and Philosophy departments of the University of Leuven (Belgium). It argues that the problem lies not only with Philosophy, but also with Europe.
