<p>Gas chromatographic and mass spectral analysis of hindgut volaties from Ips acuminatus (Gyllenhal) confirm the presence of ipsenol and ipsdienol and revealed the presence of cis-verbenol. Field bioassays indicated that male and female beetles respond to a combination of ipsenol, ipsdienol and cis-verbenol. The optical isomers (S) ipsdienol and (S) cis-verbenol are the attractive components while the enantiomers seem to suppress the response. /// Исследования газовой хроматографии и масс-спектральный анализ летучих веществ в задней кишке Ips acuminatus (Gyllental) подтверждают наличие ипсинола и ипсидинола и выявили наличие цисфербенола.
