Relations entre surfaces d'aplanissement en Centrafrique et en Guinée (Relations between planation surfaces in Central African Republic and Guinea)

Abstract. - The Central African Republic and Guinea, two countries with similar edaphic and climatic conditions, were studied by stereoscopic vision in order to draw soil and geomorphological maps at a medium, then small scale. Relations between planation surfaces were established while observing a few hundred of aerial photographies at 1/50000, through these two countries. Scarps aren't worn away according to an homogeneous manner. Using the smallest lithological or structural discontinuities, they quickly become complex. Farther, they may disappear and it is possible the surfaces join themselves.
Résumé. - Centrafrique et Guinée, deux territoires africains aux conditions climatiques et édaphiques comparables, ont été étudiés par stéréoscopie pour dresser des cartes pédologiques et morphologiques à moyenne échelle puis des synthèses à petite échelle. Les relations entre surfaces d'aplanissement ont été établies en les suivant sur des centaines de photographies aériennes à 1/50000, à travers ces deux pays. On observe rarement le recul des escarpements parallèlement à eux-mêmes. Profitant des moindres discontinuités lithologiques ou structurales, ils deviennent vite complexes. Plus loin, ils peuvent disparaître et les surfaces se raccorder.
