Résumé. - Cet article résume une méthodologie qui, au travers de l'intégration des données multi-sources - images-satellite, photographies aériennes, orthophotographies et cartes - dans un système d'information géographique, permet de déterminer de façon systématique les changements d'usage du sol (1) en milieu urbain et périurbain. Nous privilégions la présentation du projet CARTUS- AML, inventaire informatisé pour la construction du modèle d'usage du sol dans l'Aire Métropolitaine de Lisbonne.
Abtract. - This article presents a methodology that, though the integration of satellite data, aerial photographs, orthophotomaps and cartographic information in a geographical information system, detects, in a systematic way, the changes of land use in urban and urban fringe areas. Importance has been given to the presentation of the development of the CARTUS-AML project, a computerised inventory to create a land use model for the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon.
