Termite damage on fruit-trees in Casamance (Senegal) (Isoptera). In Casamance, region south of Senegal, it has been done a survey on Termites that attack the fruit trees. On 13 fruit trees species, it has been counted 23 species of Termites belonging to two trophic groups : the xylophagous and fungus growing termites. The modes and the patterns of the attacks are described.
En Casamance, région sud du Sénégal, il a été effectué une étude sur les Termites qui s'attaquent aux arbres fruitiers. Sur 13 essences, il a été recensé 23 espèces de Termites appartenant à deux groupes trophiques, les lignivores et les champignonnistes. Les modes et les types d'attaques des différentes espèces ou groupes d'espèces sont décrits.
