Description:
New species of the genus Euptera Staudinger, 1891 (Lepidoptera, Nymphalidae). Three new species of Euptera are described, E. chothyma n. sp., a new species hitherto confused with E. choveti Amiet & Collins, 1998 (males) or E. falsathyma Schultze, 1916 (females), as well as E. neptunoides n. sp. and E. rufoides n. sp., which are the western vicariants of, respectively, E. neptunus Joicey & Talbot, 1924, and E. semirufa Joicey & Talbot, 1921.
Trois nouvelles espèces d’Euptera sont décrites, E. chothyma n. sp., une espèce jusqu’ici confondue avec E. choveti Amiet & Collins, 1998 (mâles) ou E. falsathyma Schultze, 1916 (femelles), ainsi qu’E. neptunoides n. sp. et E. rufoides n. sp., qui sont les vicariants occidentaux de, respectivement, E. neptunus Joicey & Talbot, 1924, et E. semirufa Joicey & Talbot, 1921.
