Les auteurs analysent les groupements pré-forestiers et les matorrals du Rif. Sont décrits, un ordre, trois alliances et 31 associations nouvelles. Les groupements pré-forestiers s'inscrivent dans les alliances Ericion arboreae Rivas-Martinez (1975) 1987, Aspargo-Rhamnion Oleoidis Rivas-Martinez 1959, Tetraclini Artkulatae - Pistacion Atlanticae Rivas-Martinez, Costa Et Izco 1986 et Juniperion Lyciae Rivas-Martinez 1915. Les groupements de matorrals répartis dans les classes des Calluno-Ulicetea Br.-Bl. et Tx. 1943, Cisto-Lavanduletea Br.-Bt. (1940 ) 1952 et du Ononivo-Rosmarinetea Br.-Bt. 1947 posent de délicats problèmes d'interprétation liés essentiellement à l'intense dégradation du milieu. Sur la dorsale silicieuse du Rif central s'individualise l'ordre nouveau du Halimietalia Riphaeo-Atlanticae comprenant 2 alliances dont une nouvelle l'Erico Riphaee - Cistion varii. Sur la dorsale calcaire du Rif 3 alliances sont définies (Lithodoro Maroccanae - Ulicion Funkii, Pseudoscabioso Grosii - Origanion Grosii et Diantho Maroccani - Astragalion Maroccani). Les matorrals du Calluno-Ulicetea de Tingitanie restent proches de ceux décrits en Espagne méridionale. Ceux du Ononido-Rosmarinetea du Rif centro-oriental s’inscrivent dans des unités particulières de type nord-africain qui n’ont pu pour l'instant être précisées..
The authors analyze the pre-forestal groupings and the matorrals of the Rif region. They describe new units : 1 order, 3 alliances and 31 associations. The pre-forestal grouping take part in the following alliances : Ericion Arboreae Rivas-Martinez (1975) 1987, Aspargo-Rhamnion Oleoidis Rivas-Martinez 1959, Tetraclini Articulatae -Pistacion Atlanticae Rivas-Martinez, Costa et Izco 1986 and Juniperion Lyciae Rivas-Martinez 1915. The matorral groupings distibuted int the following classes : Calluno-Ulicetea Br.-Bt. et Tx. 1943, Cisto-Lavanduletea Br.-B t. (1940) 1952 and Ononido-Rosmarinetea Br.-Bt. 1947, set difficult problems of interpretaion, mainly related to the severe degradation of the environment. On the silicious dorsal of teh central Rif is individualized the new order of Halimietalia Riphaeo-Atlanticae including 2 alliances one of them beig new : Erico Riphae -Cistion Varii. On the calacreous dorsal of the Rif, 3 alliances are specified (Lithodoro Maroccanae -Ulicion Funkii, Pseudoscabioso Grosii - Origanion Grosii and Diantho Maroccani - Astragalion Maroccani). The matorrals of the Calluno-Ulicetea of Tingetanie are similar to those described in southern Spain. The matorrals of the Ononido-Rosmarinetea of the eastern central Rif take part in special units of north african type which have not yet been defined.
