Description:
For over 2000 years farmers bave been densely settled on the Etbio-Ehtrean plateaus. However «the most populated mountain in the world » (Gallais) is now threatened with its increase in population that has overgrown its increase in food production. Facing the repeated subsistence crises the Ethiopians seem disarmed and unconscious : they have squandered their natural capital. These too hasty prosecutors bave paid no attention to farmers who for centuries have tilled their land and felt attached to their Highlands that they have always regarded as the Holy Land
