In this paper I study a model of inhospitable and marginal geography, which constitutes the natural and secure habitat for the life of marginals groups : latrones, fugitivi, boucoloi, etc. This geography is transformed in spaces of marginality, identity, subordination, and resistance in front of the geography of power, expressed in the spaces of order and power.
En este trabajo trato de estudiar en el contexto de la novela antigua un tipo de geografía inhóspita, marginal, que constituía el habitat natural y seguro para la vida de grupos de marginados : latrones, fugitivi, boucoloi, etc. Esta geografía se convertía en espacios de marginalidad, identidad, dependencia y resistencia frente a la geografía del poder, representada en los espacios de orden y poder.
