Spatial Distribution and Coherence of the Roman Colonial Network in Pisidia during the Augustan Period. Pisidia was integrated into the Roman imperial space in two complementary ways. On the one hand, founding Roman colonies has permitted to control the spaces ruled by the Greek cities and to secure the articulation of the territories (Ionia, Pamphylia, north of the province of Galatia). On the other hand, violence was used in order to empty Eastern Pisidia of its Anatolian population.
La Pisidie fut intégrée dans l’espace impérial romain par deux voies complémentaires. La première, en fondant des colonies romaines, a permis de contrôler les espaces dominés par les cités grecques et d’assurer l’articulation des territoires (Ionie, Pamphylie, nord de la province de Galatie). La seconde a usé de violence pour vider la Pisidie orientale de ses populations anatoliennes.
