RÉSUMÉ La focalisation progressive de l'économie du littoral breton sur le tourisme entraîne la construction d'infrastructures spécifiques, notamment de ports de plaisance et centres de thalassothérapie. Depuis quelques années, la multiplication des projets induit un déséquilibre entre l'offre et la demande, une modification sensible du paysage, et de violents conflits spatiaux. L'application stricte de la Loi Littoral de 1986 se heurte à la pression des intérêts financiers et aux ambitions des élus, confortés dans leurs pouvoirs par la décentralisation.
ABSTRACT The economy of the Breton coast has come to rely heavily upon tourism. This in turn brings about the construction of specific infrastructures, especially yachting harbours and hydrotherapy centres. For the past few years, the increase of projects has lead to an inbalance between supply and demand, noticeably the change of the landscape, and considerable spacial conflicts. The strict application of the littoral law (1986) is in opposition to financial interest pressure and elected representative ambitions, supported by decentralization.
