Description: La Margeride est une région élevée (altitude supérieure à 1 200 m). Dix années de prospection nous ont permis de recueillir près de 2 200 silex, sur 36 sites. Il y a des traces de Moustérien dans les vallées (750 m). Mais l'occupation principale se situe pendant l'Atlantique : les Chasséens ont alors colonisé des terres actuellement désertes (d'altitude supérieure à 1 400 m).

The Margeride is a hight land (hight than 1 200 m). Prospect during ten years give us about 2 200 silex, on 36 points. There are traces of Mousterian in the valley (750 m). But the principal settlement is during the Atlantic : the Chasseans live in spot (hight than 1 400 m) wich are empty, now.
