If the particularity of fixing mode inspire some diversity, the convex « truncated edge » seems to be the main characteristic feature, with occasionnally a natural or worked back. Associated with industries of the old Mesolithic derived from the curved backed tools division, this « knife » seems to be used during the last quarter of the tenth millennial.

Si la particularité du mode de fixation inspire quelques diversités, la troncature convexe semble l'élément caractéristique important, relayée parfois par un dos naturel ou retouché.
