The lack of a real control of the fast development of mobility in the Southern Rhine Countries has reinforced the surroundings weakness. The urban focusing and the transportations are in the front row amid the concerned sensible domains. Moreover, the disorder that followed the strengthening of the industrial period has become worse with the insufficiently controled transition to the tertiary area. Presently the cooperation, in spite of its inadequacy, is growing, without resolving completely the question of the links between mobility and surroundings. The area that has been observed shows however also, how much the solutions in a transfrontier space, relies on a slow steps policy.
L'absence de véritable maîtrise de la croissance rapide de la mobilité en territoire transfrontalier sud-rhénan a renforcé la fragilisation du milieu. La polarisation urbaine et les transports figurent en première ligne parmi les domaines sensibles mis en cause. De plus, le désordre consécutif à l'affermissement de la période industrielle a été aggravé par un passage non dominé vers l'ère du secteur tertiaire. A présent la coopération, en dépit de son insuffisance, réalise des progrès, sans toutefois résoudre à fond la question des rapports de la mobilité au milieu. Le périmètre étudié révèle cependant aussi combien les solutions en espace transfrontalier reposent sur une politique de petits pas.
