La construction d'une autoroute, en s'inscrivant dans le cadre paysager de l 'homme-habitant, influence et transforme ses rapports au paysage. En compromettant les relations, conscientes ou inconscientes, tissées auparavant entre les individus et les lieux, l'autoroute A 89 vient bousculer le quotidien paysager des habitants de la basse vallée de l'Isle tout en le faisant émerger en tant que réalité vécue. La crainte du changement paysager, inhérente à l'arrivée brutale et irrémédiable de l'infrastructure, sensibilise ainsi parfois à l'extrême les populations à la question paysagère et plus particulièrement au paysage de leur espace de vie. Il en résulte la production de représentations paysagères nouvelles ou soudainement réveillées.

The fear of landscape changes, inherent to the brutal and irreversible arrival of the infrastructure, makes the populations extremely sensitive to the landscape question, and more particularly to the landscape of their living space. Autopista : un acontecimiento productor de representaciones paisajísticas. La construcción de una autopista al insertarse en el marco paisajístico del hombre- habitante tiene cierta influencia y transforma sus relaciones al paisaje. Al comprometer los vínculos conscientes o no, que existían anteriormente entre los individuos y el espacio, la autopista A 89 viene a trastornar el paisaje diario de los habitantes del valle del Isle haciéndolo emerger como una realidad perceptible. El temor al cambio paisajístico inherente a la irrupción brutal e irremediable de la infraestructura sensibiliza así en extremo las poblaciones al problema paisajístico y más precisamente al paisaje de su espacio de vida. Resulta de ello la producción de representaciones de paisajes nuevos o despertados de repente.
