Древние и современные гидравлические сооружения в гурме (тропический сахель, республика мали). Большая часть сети цистернов прорытых в почве Гурма, яруе Сахель, открывает гидровлическое оборудование народа уплотненного, возможно, протоисторического прошлого. Таким образом тут доказано, что система цистернов была устроена и употребляема в период самый сырой. Решение для его возстановления в Гурма при настоящем сухом климате Должно быть рассмотрено с большой осторожностью. По-этому предлагается продолжать разведку и эксплуатацию глубоких подземных вод, снабжение которых не завиеит от местных дождей. Таким о бразом они могут гарантировать постоянные водные пункты — жизненный вопрос Сахеля.
Gourma ist eine Region im Sahelgebiet südlich der Sahara. Eine große Anzahl, dort in den Boden gegrabener Zisternen weist auf die Wasserversorgung einer dichten Bevölkerung in wahrscheinlich frühgeschichtlicher Zeit hin. Es wird gezeigt, daß dieses Zisternensystem nur in einer Epoche angelegt und wirksam genutzt werden konnte, die regenreicher war als die heutige. Der Anregung einer Wiederherstellung der Zisternen im heutigen Trockenklima von Gourma muß mit großem Vorbehalt begegnet werden. Stattdessen wird vorgeschlagen, die Erkundung und Erschließung der tiefliegenden Grundwasserhorizonte fortzusetzen. Ihre Speisung hängt nicht von den örtlichen Regen ab. Deshalb können sie dauerhafte, auch in der langen Trockenzeit wasserführende Brunnen, eine Lebensfrage im Sahel, gewährleisten.
The distribution of a large number of cisterns dug in the soil of the Gourma, in the sahelian zone, indicates the existence in the past, probably in protohistoric times, of an organized water supply capable of supporting a dense population. It is shown here that this system of cisterns was created and used in an efficient manner during a period that was more humid than present. The suggestion that this system should be restored in the Gourma with the present arid climate should be examined with great caution. On the other hand, it is proposed to continue the search for, and exploitation of deep groundwater levels whose alimentation does not depend on local rainfall. They are therefore a reliable source for permanent water points which are vital in the Sahel.
Le réseau d'un grand nombre de citernes creusées dans le sol du Gourma, pays sahélien, manifeste l'aménagement hydraulique d'une population dense du passé probablement protohistorique. Il est démontré ici que ce système de citernes a été créé et utilisé d'une manière efficace lors d'une période plus humide que la présente. La suggestion de le reconstituer au Gourma dans le climat aride actuel doit donc être envisagée avec la plus grande réserve. En revanche, il est proposé de poursuivre la reconnaissance et l'exploitation des eaux souterraines profondes, dont l'alimentation ne dépend pas des pluies locales. C'est pourquoi elles peuvent assurer des points d'eau permanents, question vitale au Sahel.
