Pendant la vingtaine d'années de son existence, de 1924 à 1944, la Zeitschrift für Geopolitik a constitué l'une des tentatives majeures d'affirmation et de diffusion de la géopolitique dans l'Allemagne de Weimar puis dans le Troisième Reich. Son adhésion aux objectifs généraux du national-socialisme fait de cette revue un exemple très spécifique de liaison entre idéologie politique et démarche géographique. Geography and ideology between the two wars period. — For twenty years from 1924 to 1944, Zeitschrift fur Geopolitik has been one of the major channel for asserting and disseminating geopolitics ideology in Weimar Germany and then the Third Reich. Its approval of the objectives specific to national socialism makes it a typical example of the relationship between political ideology and geographical approach. This relation was carried out by mean of a review that was original in its editorial conception and by a discerning choice in themes of foreign policy.
Géographie und Idéologie zwischen die zwei Kriege, die Zeitschrift für Geopolitik 1924-1944. — Während der zwanzig Jahren ihrer Existenz von 1924 bis 1944, hat die Zeitschrift für Geopolitik versucht die Geopolitik in breiten Kreisen der Weimarer Republik und des Dritten Reiches gemeinverständlich zu machen. Durch ihre Zustimmung mit den Grundgedanken des National-Sozialismus stellt sie ein eigenartiges Beispiel einer gewissen Verkniipfung zwischen politische Ideologie und Geographie dar. Diese Verbindung vollstreckte sich durch eine besondere Auffassung der Zeitschrift als wissenschaftiche Veröffentlichung und eine merkwurdige Bedeutung der Aussenpolitik.
