Le zonage visuel obtenu sur l'image Landsat d'une partie de la région Champagne-Ardenne a été confronté à la carte des petites régions agricoles. L'analyse comparative menée conjointement par un statisticien agricole et un téléanalyste conduit à s'interroger sur la signification des distorsions constatées et à poser les jalons d'une méthodologie incluant la télédétection satellitaire aux démarches, actuelles et futures, et aux finalités de la statistique agricole.
Through a part of the Champagne-Ardenne Region, North-East of France, a comparative analysis is conducted between a Landsat imagery visual zoning and a thematic map of "Small Agricultural Regions" built up by the "Statistical Inquiries and Studies Services of The Minislry of Agriculture. Some differences which lay out between those two maps request, to think over the meanings of these distorsions in term of landuse and to ask for a methodological approach including remote sensing and the own methods of Agricultural Statistics.
