O presente artigo tem por objetivo apontar a relação entre o Papa Francisco e a Teologia. Por um lado, sua relação com a teologia latino-americano, mormente a Teologia do povo e o como ela transparece em alguns escritos pontifícios, por outro lado, pontuar o papel e os desafios do teólogo e da teologia no processo de recepção dos postulados de Francisco desenhados em seus gestos, pronunciamentos e documentos.
The purpose of this article is to point out the relationship between Pope Francis and Theology. On the one hand, its relation with Latin American theology, especially the Theology of the people and how it transpires in some pontifical writings. On the other side, to point out the role and challenges of the theologian and theology in the process of receiving the postulates of Francis drawn in his gestures, pronouncements and documents.
