PP2, Sepsis, Src Tyrosinkinase
In the present study, we investigate the intestinal microcirculation (terminal ileum) while using a sepsis model (endotoxinemia with LPS 5mg / kgKG, E-Coli serotype O26; B6) and blocking of Src tyrosine kinase with PP2 (0.2mg / kgKG). The results show a decrease of the microcirculation, as well as an increased temporary leukocyte adhesion and increased lactate concentration. These results are in contrast to the previous literature. There has never been a similar attempt to study the microcirculation while modulating Src tyrosine kinase with PP2 in endotoxinemia.
