  • Beschreibung: A film showing highlights from a visit by Chairman of the USSR, Nikolai Bulganin and Member of the Supreme Soviet, Nikita Khrushchev, to Afghanistan's capital city, Kabul

    The film opens with scenes of the mountains, streets and markets of Kabul, before showing footage from Bulganin and Khrushchev's visit. Includes scenes of their arrival at Kabul airport where they are greeted by Prime Minister Mohammed Daoud, a visit to the Mohammed Nadir Shah mausoleum, an audience with King Mohammed Zahir Shah, and a tour of the Kabul Museum of History and Kabul University's medical facilities. Also includes scenes of Bulganin and Khrushchev viewing a bakery under construction, attending a formal dinner held in their honour, and their appearance at a festival at the Ghazi Stadium where they are entertained with traditional dance and sports.
