An online survey of just under 7,000 members of the UK public was carried out between September and October 2020. The survey explored participants' perceptions of climate change, net zero and different actions that could increase or decrease carbon emissions in the UK. This research supplements the previously published Net Zero Public Dialogue and the BEIS Public Attitudes Tracker. The research was conducted jointly by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).
