In this article, we analyze the continuities and similarities in the use of religious capital and the electoral strategies of candidates supported by evangelical denominations. It consists of the campaigns of official representatives of the Assembly of God, the Foursquare Church, and the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God, in the elections to the Legislative Assembly of Paraná (2018) and the City Council of Campo Mourão (2020). We collected and systematized the materials published in their social media, problematizing the intensity in the use of hieratic signs, how the campaigns were constructed, and the style in which sacred identities were used in the electoral campaigns. The participation of religious individuals in the public arena presents symbolic and pragmatic agendas and strategies, the consequence of which seems to seek to expand the kingdom of God over politics and to do the will of the Church in the Council as well as in the Assembly.
