The 2010 Brazilian elections showed an undeniable public visibility of religion on political matters. In this context, they opened up room for religious groups to present their questions on the right to reproduce, freedom of speech, economic and social development, and public management. Thereby, movements such as the Charismatic Catholic Renewal behold the birth of socially and religiously motivated proposals of candidates, which placed charismatics in an ambiguous position. Therefore, this paper aims to signal that the political activity is fulfilled wich opposite and crossed directions in a constant attempt to be somehow articulated.
