Spanish Abstract: El presente estudio tiene el objetivo de conocer la distribución del gasto público y sus servicios en la población de Ecuador en el año 2013. Se utiliza la metodología de análisis de incidencia del beneficio a nivel de hogar. Los resultados muestran que la distribución y su mayor acceso dependen de la naturaleza (o focalización) del servicio. La educación, salud, registro civil, transporte y carreteras son los servicios públicos con una distribución equitativa, aproximadamente. Mientras que, las prestaciones del SRI y del IESS son más utilizadas por el quintil más alto, que los otros, siendo los menos progresivos, respecto al ingreso per cápita
English Abstract: In this study, the goal is determine the distribution of public expenditure and services in the population of Ecuador in 2013. We use the methodology of benefit incidence analysis at the household level. The results show that the distribution and greater access depends on the nature (or targeting) service. Education, health, civil registration, road transport and public services are equitable. While, the performance of SRI and the IESS are used by the top quintile, the other being the least progressive relative to per capita income
