This paper presents an application of the role-play technique for the dissemination of the causes of the financial crisis that broke out in September 2008. This group technique is a useful tool to help university students understand how this crisis started. Furthermore, it enables us to attribute responsibility to each of the parties involved. Finally, all of the above takes place in a learning environment that fosters student participation and motivation
