El anhelo a un mundo diverso, de paz y justicia caracteriza a la humanidad desde su origen. Para construir algo diferente, un mundo otro, se hace necesaria una mirada distinta a la realidad, que supere el clásico dualismo opositor y clasificatorio, responsable de numerosos conflictos y sufrimientos. Así mismo, es necesaria una nueva ética, que asuma las diversidades como clave epistémica de la justicia y la paz. El texto de Isaías 9,1-6 ofrece, en la imagen del niño-rey, las claves de la superación de una realidad conflictiva y de la inauguración de un tiempo de paz y justicia. En este sentido, la metáfora del niño hace parte de una propuesta ética distinta que a la vez representa y expresa otro mundo al estilo del Reino de Dios (Mt. 19,14).
The longing for a diverse world, for peace and justice characterizes humanity from its origin. To build something different, a different world, a different look at reality is necessary, which goes beyond the classic oppositional and classificatory dualism, responsible for numerous conflicts and sufferings. Likewise, a new ethic is necessary, one that assumes diversity as the epistemic key to justice and peace. The text of Isaiah 9: 1-6 offers, in the image of the child-king, the keys to overcoming a conflictive reality and the inauguration of a time of peace and justice. In this sense, the metaphor of the child is part of a different ethical proposal that at the same time represents and expresses another world in the style of the Kingdom of God (Mt. 19:14).
