  • Beschreibung: With the booming of chemical industry and increasing demand for petroleum products, oily wastewater originating from frequent oil-spill accidents and industrial waste discharge causes tremendous hazards to human health and marine ecosystems. Different from traditional superhydrophilic/underwater superoleophobic materials that are only satisfactory for nonpolar solvents or light oils, we propose a protonated cross-linkable nanocomposite coating with intensified hydration capability and outstanding anti-crude oil-adhesion property to treat crude oil wastewater. The fabrication method is green, easy, cost-efficient, and available for large-scale production, and the prepared nanocomposite coating is believed to make a significant step to achieve viscous crude oil/water purifying
