  • Beschreibung: The synthesis of different structures quantum dots (QDs) in a biologically friendly aqueous solution is the current trend for the preparation of nanoparticles. CdTe QDs were synthesized in aqueous by a green and environmentally friendly way with glutathione (GSH). Rod like core-shell CdTe/CdSe and ellipsoidal alloy CdTeSe QDs were prepared by adjusting the ligand ratio and element concentration. Here we analyzed the elemental composition and structural characteristics of three kinds of nanoparticles from the aspects of internal lattice structure, special vibration of valence bonds, electron excitation characteristics and so on. The thickness shell and the doping elements can be adjusted to provide rich variation in the band gap width, fluorescence lifetime, exciton transition mode, and carrier concentration.This provides a more definite direction for the applications of cadmium chalcogenide core-shell and alloy structure QDs prepared in aqueous solution in the fields of photoelectric devices and biology
