  • Beschreibung: In order to substantiate the efficiency of using gas infrared heaters as the main elements of systems for ensuring the scheduled thermal conditions of industrial premises, experimental studies and mathematical modeling of heat transfer in a closed area with an infrared heat source and a horizontal panel simulating equipment with its different location were carried out. Heat transfer in air between solid gray surfaces forming a closed system was considered within the framework of a diathermic medium model. The system of radiation heat transfer equations for a closed system of surfaces, thermal conductivity for enclosing structures, energy and Navier-Stokes for air has been solved. The numerical analysis of the main regularities of solid surfaces heated by a radiation heat flux, thermal conductivity, thermogravitational convection, and the temperature fields formation in the local working area at different equipment model positions relative to the radiation flux direction shows a significant influence of the equipment position on the air movement hydrodynamics in the considered area and the temperature field of the local working area. It is shown that the equipment presence in the premises intensifies the thermogravitational convection process and, accordingly, leads to a more uniform temperatures distribution over the local working area. It is explained by the movement of air masses heated to relatively high temperatures near the heated equipment surface. The results of the performed numerical studies lead to the conclusion that changing the equipment position and configuration makes it possible to control the temperature field formation in the local working area during the gas heaters operation
