  • Beschreibung: Global value chains (GVCs), which involve a number of tasks or processes in the form of international networks and have been actively constructed mainly by multinational corporations (MNCs) in recent decades, provide a good opportunity for SMEs to participate in globalization. As a result, this review study is based on the impact of the Global Value Chain on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This review is written using the qualitative analysis of the five countries' statistical data. Based on the results, it was found that there is a relationship between Small and Medium Enterprises with a Global Value Chain. Small and Medium Enterprises should focus on the Global Value Chain, production networks, required infrastructure, and training programs to develop human capital capabilities in order to enhance the Small and Medium Enterprises' potential to link with the Global Value Chain. Further, this review recommended that, government and non-governmental organizations should be focus to enhance the Small and Medium Enterprises internationally
