  • Beschreibung: We measured the transport carbon emission efficiency (TCEE) of 30 areas in China from 2003 to 2018, and the influence of spatial weights on the spatial correlation of TCEE was determined by constructing different spatial weight matrices. Further, the temporal and spatial differences of driving factors on TCEE were determined. The results showed that the TCEE is on the rise but with an overall low level and significant regional differences. The asymmetric effects of the economic and geographical factors on TCEE can be fully reflected by applying the spatial weighting scheme of the economy and reciprocal distance. Various driving factors, such as economic level, energy structure, and technical level, have a great influence on TCEE. However, there are obvious regional and temporal differences of each factor. Finally, targeted and differentiated carbon emission reduction policies were proposed for transport departments to realize carbon neutrality as soon as possible
