  • Beschreibung: While e-commerce is common in the retail and service sectors, it has not been widely adopted in the agricultural sector where businesses focus on growing, harvesting, packaging, and shipping fruits and vegetables. The agricultural sector has unique characteristics that distinguish it from other industries. The purpose of this quantitative study is to identify the impact of e-commerce capabilities on agricultural firms’ performance gains through organizational agility. We contend that e-commerce capabilities that include Technical, Talent, Managerial capability increase Organizational agility. Agility is measured by Market capitalizing agility, and Operational adjustment agility. These Agilities in turn contribute towards Financial and non-financial performance gains. A survey was conducted from a sample of 490 managers of agricultural firms including farmers, landlords, and dealers. The study adopted a model from Li et al (2020) and tested it in the context of Pakistan through structural equation modeling. The results revealed that organizational agility plays a mediating role in conveying the positive influences of e-commerce capabilities on agricultural firms’ performance gains. The research also suggests that talent capability plays an important role in agricultural benefits. This research serves as a guideline to comprehending the relationships that exist between e-commerce abilities, organizational agility, and agricultural firms’ performance gains
