  • Beschreibung: In many countries including China, fighting corruption is a central part of the institutional reform and democratic governance agenda, which require long-term, constant effort. The paper introduces the cooperation projects between the UNDP and the Chinese Government on anti-corruption and touches upon lessons learned through UNDP’s experience worldwide and cooperation with the Chinese Government. It concludes that there is no one model for fighting corruption, and although “best practices” exist and can provide guidance, they are not automatically applicable to all countries. Reform must also integrate the efforts of the judicial, legislative, and executive branches into a holistic approach that is actually implemented and applied
