Previous studies have identified trust trait, trust expectation, trust risk and trust behavior as the core components of interpersonal trust. For the structural relationships of these core components, the current study innovatively proposed that interpersonal trust takes individual trust trait as a cornerstone, the interactive balance between trust risk and trust expectation as the intermediary, and the output of trust behavior as the result, interpersonal trust is the result of joint action of individual factors and environmental factors. We called above structural relationships as the pyramid structure model of interpersonal trust, and proved its rationality by empirical evidence.
